Not logged into the new site before?

We have set a temporary password for you which is: PleaseChangePassword (exactly as it is here). The 'Membership Log-in' area is at the top right of the website.  Log-in with your usual username and this temporary password. You can then click on the 'Your  Profile' link in the 'Members Log in' tab and you can choose a new password, update other details and also renew if you have not done so already. If you have a problem with this please feel free to contact Adrian (agorman@sussex-counselling.co.uk or 01345 813139) and he will be more than happy to help you.

 

Forgotten your email address used to register?

You will need the email address you originally registered with if you can’t remember this then contact Helen at membership and she will supply it.

 

Forgotten your username?

Click on the 'Forgot your username?' link.

You will be asked to enter the email address you originally registered with. Your username will then be sent to this email address.

 

Forgotten your password?

Click on the 'Forgot your password?' link.

You will be asked to enter the email address you originally registered with. A verification code will be sent to your email. Once you have received the verification code paste it into the required field and you will be directed to your profile page where you can choose a new password.

 

How to update your profile (i.e., change your email/postal address/telephone number, etc):

Log in. Go back to the ‘Members Log in’ tab and select 'your profile' from the drop-down. Here you will be able to edit your details.

 

How to change your password:

Log in. Go back to the ‘Members Log in’ tab and select 'your profile' from the drop-down. Here you will be able to change your password.

 

Renew your subscription:

You will receive a notification email 20 days before your membership subscription is due to expire.

Log in. Go back to the ‘Members Log in’ tab and select 'your profile' from the drop-down. At the bottom of the page are details on how to renew your subscription.

 

How to advertise in ‘What's On in Sussex’ (Sussex Counselling & Psychotherapy's email newsletter):

Go to this page (see terms & conditions) and enter your details in the form provided. This will update the 'Whats On' page and your advert will also be sent out to our mailing list automatically, on the next 1st of the month.

 

Advertising and payment in Sussex Counselling & Psychotherapy’s in printed quarterly magazine:

Go to this page and follow steps 1 & 2 where you can submit and pay for your advertisement.

Step 1: is to determine if there is availiable space in the magazine for your advert.

Step 2: Submit you advert details in word format and your artwok either as a jpeg or pdf document. You will also be able to pay at this point.

 

Placements & how to add / update your entry:

1. Click on the 'Placements' menu tab (this will take you to the placements page).

2. Click on the ‘Add/Update your Organisation details as a Placement Provider’ link.

3. Complete the applicable fields (please read the info for each field first).

4. Read and agree  to the ' terms and conditions'.

5. Click 'Save Entry' at the bottom of the form.

6. Your entry will be updated as soon as possible.

Note: Save your work periodically as the server may time out if there is no activity.

 

How to add your details to the Counsellor Directory?

Log in:

1. Click on the main 'Counsellor Directory' menu tab (this will take you to the directory page).

2. Click 'Add Entry' on the top toolbar.

3. Complete the applicable fields (please read the info for each field first).

4. Read and agree the conditions.

5. Click 'Save Entry' at the bottom of the form.

6. In order for your practice listing to be published you should send us a copy of your qualification for us to verify. - The minimum accepted qualification is a Diploma in Counselling or similar.

7. Log in. Go back to the ‘Members Log in’ tab and select 'Members area' from the drop-down. Click on ‘Attached Qualifications’ and complete the fields.

How to edit your Counsellor Directory details:

Log in:

1. Click on the main 'Counsellor Directory' menu tab (this will take you to the directory page).

2. Scroll down, or do a search to find your listing (from the top toolbar)

3. Click on your name.

4. To the left or your name is an Icon - click on it and choose 'Edit Entry'. (N.B. deleting the entry is permanent).

5. Make the desired changes and click 'Save Entry' at the bottom of the page.

Note: Save your work periodically as the server may time out if there is no activity

 

Making payment with PayPal:

Making payment from our site using your PayPal account is a straightforward process. Whether for membership or other online payments with us, you just complete the form and when you click send you will be redirected to the payment page.

If you are a PayPal user already – you will probably be familiar with the process and be redirected to the PayPal log in page (see image) – N.B. if the email address and password fields are already filled in delete the password and re-enter it.

Make the payment by simply clicking ‘pay now’. 

 

Making payment with Credit/Debit cards:

If you do not have a PayPal account – you will probably be redirected to the Guest payment page (see image) where you can make the payment with most credit/debit cards. Simply follow the usual process of adding card details. – N.B. as part of this process you will be offered the opportunity to create a PayPal account – this is optional.

Cancelling membership and getting a refund

Membership can be cancelled and refunded only within 30 days of purchase.
